Welcome to the website for the Evidence Synthesis Infrastructure Collaborative (ESIC) planning process. Over the last six months, three types of planning partners (representing the demand, supply and intermediary communities) have come together to undertake an open and equitable planning process to deliver a roadmap that many categories of interest holder, including multilaterals, citizen-serving NGOs and funders, could use to deliver on the promise of a step-change improvement in how we produce and use evidence synthesis.

We are now back from hosting the Cape Town Consensus on Transforming Evidence Synthesis to Improve Lives, which took place from 24 - 26 June 2025, where we stress-tested and refined the ESIC roadmap. Key documents for this meeting are provided below. For those not able to join us in Cape Town, please rest assured that we still want your voices to be heard. More details about how to provide feedback on the ESIC roadmap will follow soon.
