Zhipeng Wei, a professor at the Center for Evidence-Based Social Science of Lanzhou University and the editor-in-chief of the Chinese journal "Library and Information." He has nearly 20 years of experience working in provincial public libraries. With a background in computer science and management science, along with extensive experience in national research projects and team management, he currently focuses on research and practice in evidence synthesis, evidence-based practice, and government services in the field of management science.

Julian Elliott is one of the world’s leading innovators in the production and use of research evidence. He is the co-founder and CEO of the Future Evidence Foundation, a non-profit organisation that produces Covidence, the most widely used software for evidence synthesis, and developer of the Living Evidence model: trustworthy summaries of science that are kept up to date with the latest research. This model was widely used during the COVID-19 pandemic and is now being adopted worldwide, including through the Alliance for Living Evidence (Alive), a global collaboration supported by the Foundation.

Prof Elliott was the founding Chair of the Australian Living Evidence Collaboration and established the Australian National Clinical Evidence Taskforce, both based at Cochrane Australia within Monash University’s School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine where he is a professor in evidence synthesis. He worked for many years in Cambodia and elsewhere in South-East and South Asia on scaling HIV programs, in remote Australian indigenous communities and as an infectious diseases physician and HIV clinical trialist. He is a recipient of the Australian Health Minister’s Award for Excellence in Health and Medical Research.

Jon Kay is Head of Evidence Synthesis and International at the Education Endowment Foundation – the UK What Works Centre for Education. He is responsible for the evidence synthesis work at the EEF including the Teaching and Learning Toolkit, an evidence portal that is used by 70% of school leaders in England. Jon has been at the EEF since 2014 in a number of roles, including leading the policy team and the publication of evaluation reports on EEF funded randomised controlled trials. He is an honorary fellow at Durham University and a Board member of the Campbell Collaboration.

Mohammad Zaman is Senior Evidence Synthesis Manager at the Education Endowment Foundation – the UK What Works Centre for Education. Since joining the EEF in 2018, he has been responsible for managing the development of the Teaching and Learning Toolkit, an evidence portal that is used by 70% of school leaders in England. He also works closely with EEF’s international partners in supporting them contextualise the Toolkit for their regions and countries. He is an honorary fellow at Durham University.
